Who are you calling an adult?!
I really like my classes so far, it's still a bit scary, but it's okay. I've never been called an "adult" so many times! My so called advanced french class isn't quite what I thought it would be...I was hoping for more french literature (which I have a passion for), but instead it's pretty much all grammar. We don't even get to read any books! That was kind of disapointing, but at least I'll have really good grammar! Some of my profs prefer to be called Dr._____ while as others just go by their first names. I feel really weird calling someone with their Ph D. by their first name! I like it here so far; I even saw my ex boyfriend today...of course it had to be a moment where I was all by myself! I went to chapel with a bunch of the girls from residence, my first Lutheran service. The school chaplain is really neat, he came and started talking with me at orientation. Their having a big dinner for all the Lutheran students...I'm definitely not invited! I thought about having a dinner with only people from the Salvation Army, but then I realized that would include myself and my exboyfriend. So yeah, things are going pretty well. I have a lot of reading to do, so I'm going to get on that!
p.s. Two people have already assumed that I'm in my second year...I find that funny.

as much as i love the army, having lunches with just your people might be . . . the opposite of the point of going to an interdenominational school. but, in the end, there's always this to consider: meh.
love ya!
